Tee Time
When a graphic designer in Montana received our brochure she instantly found the inspiration she had been seeking. A matte black paper with contrasting gloss ink was perfect for a membership package being designed for “The Reserve at Moonlight Basin”, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Club in Montana. The presentation box was produced using Silktouch Nubia with a black gloss foil stamp. The final product was so well received by both the members and designer that Trendex/Compton was commissioned for a second project, a self-contained sales kit.
The presentation box measured at 12” x 10” x 1.5” and was constructed with various weights of chipboard and reinforced with Tyvek. The box holds loose-leaf material on straight D ring metal as well as housing a two-pocket folder. The inside front cover has an angled pocket with a pressure sensitive horizontal business card holder. To the right of the card holder is a die-cut slot that can hold a smaller map or brochure. The presentation box features the same black matte and gloss foil stamp as the previous brochure; it also utilizes a full flap closure with two hidden magnets and a red ribbon that elegantly opens and closes the piece. All 500 boxes were manufactured in-house and took just under one month to complete.
